Do these miniatures now come only as files for printing ourselves?   They were available through Shapeways but I cannot see them there now.

Return to Zenda, AKA Ruritania or Bust?

June 22, 2018 - 12:00
Right, I'm bored.

Anyone up for a Ruritania campaign along the lines of the Atlantis farago about 6 years ago?

My basic idea was that (unlike Atlantis) we'd have some factions.

The Ruritanian succession is in dispute - various claimants have arisen, C...

They got me on a new painting kick which has since stalled as I've tun out of 'flesh' and haven't yet got round ...

I have to agree with Humakt,

Re: Casual Tea's Frostgrave Stuff (Another Demon 6/22)

June 22, 2018 - 10:48
Can't have too many demons, right? I got this guy on a whim with a Hasslefree Miniatures order because I liked the model. This was another attempt to learn the famous "loaded brush" technique popularized by Ben Komets. I think I'm starting to get a fee...

Re: What is war gaming about?

June 22, 2018 - 09:42
I would like to add my couple of cents, if I may. Wargaming is a complex hobby involving many different sides, like others have before me pointed out: modelling and collecting figures and terrain, studying and researching the history, the strategy and ...

Re: High Elves or Dwarfs. (which project to revive ?)

June 22, 2018 - 09:21
The answer, oooooobviously, is both, but in tandem.

Make sure you have 1 hero and 2 small units finished. Play a battle with your kid, add a warnachine or creature on both sides, play a battle, add another unit on both sides, etc.

Fun times.

Another vote for ‘both’ from me!

Although in saying that those dwarf slayers are great! They remind me of the warring clans in the Pixar film Brave!...
