The Orc Frigates from Uncharted Seas make good Drilla Killa's. I picked some up to bulk out my Orc fleet and try to outweigh the 12 Chukkas I have, .

Quote from: robh on July 16, 2018, 10:45:38 PMYes, this one is going to be close.  Great range of miniatures with a lot of potential but very little visibility around the web.

What a fantastic build! Great job, stoked to see it all painted up. You're a wizard with that foam-etching.

A friend used a red brown when painting his SYW/AWI British as it was a basecoat for the red jackets and flesh.

Re: Caesarian Testudo?

July 17, 2018 - 11:11
I have some cast resin testudos that I got ages ago as a freebie. They have the semi-cylindrical 'imperial' shields.
I don't know who made them, but they are just a block with lots of shields on the outside, so much easier to paint than a load of figures.

The boards were originally constructed (and not by me) probably 40 year...

Re: Masters of the Universe (update 16/07)

July 17, 2018 - 10:16
The old Grenadier vehicles and cats are a good fit to the present day 30mm figures sizewise. There's a common misconception they were true 25mm, but those old MOTU figures were at least 30mm scale, which was huge for the day.
